The old Building has become a real Attraction in Mostar

The old ‘Zitopromet’ building in Mostar, which after several demolition attempts still stands at an angle, has become a real attraction.

The building also appeared on Google Maps under the name “Leaning Tower” and people don’t stop joking in the reviews.

‘Pisa what, this is the original Leaning Tower,’ ‘One of the better examples of modern architecture in Mostar and its surroundings,’ ‘The evenings are crowded with tourists, but a top attraction nonetheless,’ ‘This can’t be found anywhere, and where it is possible to find something like this, it is not just like this,’ The Leaning Tower is the new Old Bridge’, are some of the reviews.

Also, many Mostar residents used this opportunity to take photos next to the “Leaning Tower” like the ones that tourists take in Pisa next to the Leaning Tower.

To recall, the first attempt to demolish this old building in Mostar attracted a lot of attention due to an unusual result – the building started falling forward after the explosives detonated – and it stopped there. They then tried to demolish it with an excavator, and then again with explosives, but the building still stands in its place, Klix.ba writes.
