The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, arrived today on a two-day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina received her with military honors, and a media conference is planned after the meeting.

It is expected that the focus of the talks with the members of the Presidency will be on the approach of BiH to the European Union.

Also, during her visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the president of Slovenia will participate in the ceremonial academy on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo, and meetings with the chairwoman of the BiH Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto and members of the Collegiums of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of PSBiH are scheduled for tomorrow.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, organized by the Embassy of Slovenia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the “DiplomatSKI” event will be held, when a new ski slope will be officially opened in honor of the legendary skier and Olympic silver medalist – the Slovenian Jure Franko.

Pirc Musar will also visit members of the 48th contingent of the Slovenian Army, who operate within the EUFOR Althea military mission and the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo.
