fondacija_marmaraThe Prime Minister of FB&H Nermin Nikšić received today the delegation of the Turkish Foundation Marmara from Istanbul at the premises of the Government in Sarajevo. This foundation was established in 1985 and is an economic and social research group, which aims to improve relations between the EU and countries of Central Asia and the Middle East.

The Prime Minister Nikšić expressed to his Turkish guests his satisfaction about this meeting and informed them on the current economic situation in the FB&H and statistical indicators that reveal a slight economic improvement.

Both sides highlighted the possibility of economic cooperation between B&H and Turkey.

“This cooperation is certainly not at the level that it can be, especially when it comes to investments on the B&H economy. Apart from trade connections, help in construction of infrastructure, educational and other facilities, we need direct investments of Turkish businessmen that will have a great influence on the B&H economy”, stated Prime Minister Nikšić.

President Suver handed to Prime Minister Nikšić a hand painted tray with traditional Turkish motifs in gratitude for everything that the FB&H government has done to develop friendly relations between the two countries.
