The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has filed a Case against former Prosecutor Dubravko Campara

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed a case against former state prosecutor Dubravko Čampara, the institution confirmed to Detektor. The Prosecutor’s Office said it could not provide any more information.

In early April, the State Prosecutor’s Office filed a complaint with the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor against Čampara, while he was still serving as state prosecutor.

At that time, an acting prosecutor was appointed to check whether his actions contained elements of a criminal offense.

A few days later, Čampara resigned from the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC). He did not want to talk about the reasons for his resignation.

The Prosecutor’s Office previously unofficially confirmed to Detektor that Čampara had been “removed” from the case related to an attack on the constitutional and legal order, in which the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, the entity Prime Minister Radovan Višković and the President of the RS National Assembly Nenad Stevandić are suspects.

A source from the Prosecutor’s Office said that an investigation has been launched to determine whether Campara obstructed the case against Dodik and others.

The Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor previously refused to confirm or deny whether proceedings were underway against Campara due to “restrictions prescribed by special regulations, which relate to certain categories of information and data.”, Detektor writes.
