The Rafah Border Crossing is reopened to Foreign Nationals and seriously injured Palestinians

The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt reopened today to foreign nationals and seriously injured Palestinians.

Rafah is the only crossing open to and from Gaza since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 and the Israeli army began its offensive. It is the only place through which humanitarian aid has reached the Palestinian enclave.

In recent days, holders of foreign passports to exit the Gaza Strip could cross the border if their names were published on official lists of persons allowed to cross.
