The real GDP growth in the First Quarter amounts to Two Percent

The real GDP growth in the first quarter of 2018, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, amounted 2,0 %.

According to seasonally adjusted data, GDP increased by 1,0% in the first quarter of 2018, as compared to the previous quarter.
Observed by activities, in the first quarter of 2018 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, real growth of the gross value added was recorded in: Wholesale and retail trade (G) 10,0% and Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (D) 8,5%.

Real fall of the gross value added was recorded in: Professional, scientific and technical activities (M) 7,1% and Other service activities (S) 6,3%.
