Živinice Projects opcinazivinice.orgThe Mayor of the Municipality Živinice Asim Aljić signed two days ago the contracts for the realization of 35 new projects whose value amounts to over 600.000 BAM. Contracts were signed with the contractors and projects are related to the construction of new asphalt road sections, the construction of public street lighting and the construction of water supply and sewage in the local communities in the Municipality Živinice.

Financial means have been provided by the principle “Mark for Mark”, that is, half the assets are from the citizens and the other half from the Budget of the Municipality Živinice.

“These are the projects for which the citizens raised money in 2013 already. Some of the money was missing because of increased prices from 2013 to the present, when we signed the contracts, and on this occasion I would like to thank the Municipal Council of Živinice that covered that part, so that we will take some 60.000 BAM from the budget of the Municipality and solve that situation”, said on this occasion the Mayor Asim Aljić and added that in the next month they expect the realization of projects related primarily to the paving of streets, sewage and lighting in local communities.

The contractors are companies from Živinice ‘’HIH’’, ‘’Holex’’, ‘’Terakop’’, ‘’SE-Sarajka’’, ‘’Termovent’’ and ‘’Kalelektrik’’, and the works should be completed within the next month.
