The Association for Peace, Education and Creativity will organize the fifth art colony “Dzafici 2015” in the settlement Dzafici near Kalesija on October 3rd and 4th, under the motto “The Return to the Old Bosnia”.
Thematically, the colony will be related to antiques, the past of B&H, and the rich history of craftsmanship, which will be a unique opportunity for the painters to convey a part of their own vision of the old Bosnia to their canvases.
The ambience in which the colony will be held is the three-centuries-old house of Rasim Hamidovic.
The art colony will be opened on October 3rd, and the permanent exhibition of antiques will be presented the following day, together with the declaration of the Museum of Bosnian Antiques – The House of Rasim Hamidovic Dzafici open.
More than twenty painters from B&H, several writers, and folklore societies announced their participation at this year’s colony.
The gathering “Discussions on Tradition” was also planned to be held, within which the journalist and publicist Mehmed Pargan, together with the President of the Association Old and Artistic Crafts Rasim Hamidovic, present the project “The keepers of the BH tradition”, it was announced from the Bosnian media group.
