The RS Ministry of Internal Affairs punished a Returnee in Zvornik for using derogatory Words for Dodik

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska (RS) yesterday punished the returnee to Zvornik, Salih Nozinovic, for, as they say, “causing distress and fear” by using derogatory words for the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) entity, Milorad Dodik.

Namely, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS issued Nozinovica misdemeanor warrant because, in front of a restaurant in Zvornik, he said that Dodik was a “fat pig“.

“The named person (Salih Nozinovic) on the mentioned day (August 4th, 2023) violated public order and peace from Article 7 of the Law on Public Peace and Order by saying in a raised and arrogant tone several times in front of the restaurant La Scala: ‘Dodik is a fat pig. I am not afraid of the police or the chief of police, but only of dear Allah,’ and thereby caused anxiety and fear in the person Nikola Kukolj”, it was stated in the misdemeanor order published by Istraga.

It is important to note that when writing the order, the police officers were guided by an article of the law, which clearly states that punishment cannot be imposed if “offensive content” refers to state and other public bodies.

“Whoever disturbs public order and peace by fighting, shouting, screaming, performing or reproducing musical content or texts, wearing or highlighting symbols, pictures, drawings or texts with obscene, offensive or disturbing content and other indecent or insolent behavior, unless the above applies to a publicly presented opinion on the work of state bodies, and other public bodies and organizations, will be punished with a fine of 100 BAM to 300 BAM“, Article 7 of the Law reads, Klix.ba reports.
