At today’s meeting of the president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidija Bradara, with the vice-presidents, Igor Stojanović and Refik Lendo, again no agreement was reached on the formation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“As far as I’m concerned, the Government has been appointed and is awaiting confirmation. I don’t intend to change the decision, made in accordance with the Constitution and the given deadlines as well as the parliamentary majority,” said Bradara after the meeting.
According to her, everything else is buying time and blocking.
She emphasized that today’s meeting did not result in any changes in attitudes except that, as she said, “Mr. Lendo gave himself an additional seven days”.
“What is positive is the willingness to talk despite different views on most problems, both for me and the vice president, not only for the currently most topical topic regarding the appointment of the FBiH Government, but also for numerous others,” said the president of the FBiH.
After again no agreement was reached on the formation of the entity government, Lendo pointed out that the SDA will offer solutions in the next seven to ten days, and that after that he will initiate a meeting of the president and vice president on this issue.
He announced that the Eight from the SDA will receive an acceptable offer.
“We will offer something that is in the interest of the citizens, which would be good and acceptable for the Eight. I am not talking about the prime minister and any part when it comes to the participation of the SDA,” Lendo pointed out.
According to him, it is more acceptable for domestic politicians to come to an agreement, than for the High Representative for BiH Christian Schmidt to make any decision.
FBiH Vice President Igor Stojanović is of the same opinion as Bradara. As he said, he believes that Lendo is buying time and that it is neither correct nor responsible.
