The Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) assessed that the election result, which is 25 to 30 percent better than the previous General Election, represents the party’s biggest victory since 2002 and announced the assumption of responsibility for the formation of government at the state and federal levels, as well as in most cantons.
As pointed out in the SDA press release, this election result gives the party the right and obligation to, in accordance with the trust shown to it by the citizens, assume responsibility and lead the legislative and executive power at the level of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federation of BiH and in most cantons, with the aim of ensuring political stability, efficient functioning of institutions, implementing necessary reforms and improving the quality of life of citizens.
Also, the Presidency of the SDA has appointed a Negotiating Team that will conduct talks on the formation of government at the state and federal level, guided by the electoral legitimacy of the SDA, program principles and the interests of the state of BiH.
The party presidency congratulated the party structure for the convincing election victory and thanked the members, activists, sympathizers and voters for their support.
