The State of Qatar strongly condemned the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings where members of the Political Bureau of Hamas were staying in the Qatari capital, Doha, announced today on the social network Iqs Majed bin Mohammed al-Ansari, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and adviser to the Qatari Prime Minister.

“This criminal attack represents a clear violation of all international laws and norms and a serious threat to the safety and security of Qatari citizens and residents of Qatar. The Ministry confirms that the security forces, civil protection and competent authorities immediately began to act to respond to the incident, took the necessary measures to suppress its consequences and ensure the safety of residents and the surrounding areas,” said al-Ansari.

He added that although the State of Qatar strongly condemns this attack, it also affirms that it will not tolerate this irresponsible Israeli behavior and continuous violation of regional security, as well as any act that targets its security and sovereignty.

“Investigations are being conducted at the highest level, and additional details will be released as soon as they are available,” al-Ansari said.

The Qatari state news agency reported that an Israeli entity carried out a criminal attack on Tuesday targeting residential areas where members of the Hamas Political Bureau were staying in the Qatari capital of Doha.

Security forces, civil protection and other relevant services immediately responded to the incident, taking the necessary measures to mitigate the consequences of the attack and ensure the safety of residents and surrounding areas.

This criminal act constitutes a gross violation of all international laws and norms, as well as a serious threat to the security of Qatari citizens and residents, the Qatari state news agency reported, according to a statement from the Qatari embassy in BiH.
