The Trade Deficit of the Federation of BiH was 824.3 Million BAM

In September 2023, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) achieved exports worth 940,265,000 BAM, which is 21.2 percent more compared to August 2023, and 16.5 percent less compared to September of the previous year.

In September 2023, imports in the value of 1,764,577,000 BAMwere realized, which is 7.3 percent more compared to August 2023, or 6.3 percent less compared to September 2022.

In the period January – September 2023, exports fell on average every month by 0.03 percent, and imports grew on average by 0.18 percent.

The percentage of coverage of imports by exports in September was 53.3 percent, which is 6.2 percent more than in August 2023, when the coverage was 47.1 percent.

The trade deficit of the FBiH for September 2023 was 824,312,000 BAM, according to data from the Federal Instituteof Statistics.

In September, most exports from FBiH were to Germany, Croatia and Austria, while most of the imports were from Italy, Germany, and China.
