Public enterprise Sarajevo d.o.o. registers a significant number of visits every day, since the beginning of the year. They are pleased by the fact that there is a noticeable and significant number of guests, ie tourists from countries that were not registered in significant numbers in previous years.

“The Trebević cable car is an unmissable destination for tourists who want to enjoy the ride and the view of the city. In a ten-minute drive from the city, they arrive at the Olympic mountain Trebević and enjoy the mountain air,” it is stated.

In the period from January to August this year, the Trebević cable car realized 275,894 rides. That is about 15,000 trips more, compared to the same period last year.

“The figures show a significant increase in the number of visitors to the Trebević cable car, and we will strive to further enrich our services so that visitors and guests of the city would be even more satisfied,” they emphasize.

This year, Sarajevo City Hall also recorded a significant increase in visits. From 01.01.2023. until 31.08.2023. around 25,000 visitors visited the Town Hall. In addition to being able to visit the most beautiful and representative building in Sarajevo, to explore that unique architectural unity of East and West, visitors can also enjoy permanent and occasional exhibition settings. The town hall is open for visits every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“More and more content, cultural events (concerts, festivals), irresistible gastronomic offer attracts an increasing number of tourists. When we add to that the natural resources and the surrounding mountains, the rich history of our city, the fact that Sarajevo is a top tourist destination is no surprise,” announced JP Sarajevo.
