The War Childhood Museum in Sarajevo will celebrate its sixth birthday on February 14 at the National Theater.

The Museum will continue its birthday celebration the week after when, from February 20 to 27, the entrance for all visitors will be free of charge. The Museum will present a new set of museum exhibits and organize numerous creative workshops in cooperation with the Manifesto Gallery.

The Project Manager of the Museum, Mirela Geko, told FENA that the Museum achieved significant results in all fields of its activities last year.

She points out that in addition to numerous educational and research activities, in cooperation with the office in Ukraine, one of the most significant exhibitions, the pop-up exhibition “LISTEN”, was presented. It is dedicated to Ukraine and other war-affected areas.

“This exhibition was presented in five countries, including guest appearances at the world’s largest museum conference in Prague, and Strasbourg at the Council of Europe during the week in which the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe was held,” said Geko.
