The White House revealed: Israel will pause Attacks on Gaza for four Hours every Day

The White House has announced that Israel will begin daily four-hour pauses in strikes in northern Gaza

“The US understands that Israel will begin conducting four-hour breaks in the northern Gaza Strip every day,” White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters.

He said the announcement would be made three hours before.

“The Israelis have told us that there will be no military operations in these areas during the pause and that the process begins today,” he added.

Let’s recall that earlier the Israeli army said that “there are tactical, local breaks for humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza”, and made it clear that “there is no ceasefire”.

Since October 7, more than 10,000 civilians have died in Gaza, most of them children and women, and the Israelis also control the humanitarian aid that reaches the Palestinians.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected an agreement for a five-day ceasefire with Palestinian groups in Gaza in exchange for the release of some hostages held in the area, according to sources familiar with the negotiations, The Guardian reports.

Sources said the Israeli prime minister rejected the deal in early talks after Hamas militants staged an unprecedented incursion into Israeli territory on October 7, killing an estimated 1,400 people.
