Production at the Zenica Brown Coal Mine was partially restored over the weekend, a small part of the miners returned to the pit, while a larger number of Zenica chambers are still in workers’ disobedience, it was confirmed by the Trade Union of Zenica Brown Coal Mine.
According to the union, there is no solution to the problem and the continuation of full production because the May salary, which is the union’s condition for ending the disobedience, as well as the meal allowance for April, have not yet been paid.
The mine management is still negotiating with the workers to continue production, but also with Elektroprivreda Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as the governing company from which they expect support in overcoming the new crisis in the Zenica mine.
