The member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Rishi Sunak, about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sunak is one of the world’s most influential statesmen and the meeting of Bećirović with him is a strong confirmation of the United Kingdom’s support for Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is about one of the most important meetings of Bosnia and Herzegovina. officials with key leaders of the West in the last decade, but also a clear indication of unquestionable support for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens, Bećirović’s cabinet announced.

Bećirović informed Prime Minister Sunak about the danger of anti-Dayton activities that threaten peace and destroy the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said, among other things, that the support of the United Kingdom is extremely important with the aim of ensuring peace, stability and protection of the Dayton Peace Agreement. It is time to take concrete steps against the destroyers of peace, Bećirović pointed out.

Prime Minister Sunak clearly said that the United Kingdom strongly supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will take additional steps to protect the peace process and the security of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, he emphasized that the United Kingdom, as a witness to the Dayton Agreement, is determined to continue to be a factor of peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. UK Prime Minister Sunak stated that the preservation of peace and the democratic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the key priorities of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) in this part of Europe.

Bećirović expressed his gratitude to the Government of the UK for the continued assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for the assistance programs in implementing economic reforms, strengthening democracy and reforming the rule of law.
