Two days ago, the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations (UN)Danny Danon issued what he called a final warning to the Yemeni Houthis, demanding they cease rocket attacks on Israel or face the risk of sharing the “miserable fate” of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Bashar al-Assad.
He also warned Tehran that Israel has the capability to strike any target in the Middle East, including Iran, and added that his Jewish state will not tolerate attacks from Iran’s allies, Israeli media reported.
“Perhaps you haven’t paid attention to what happened in the Middle East over the past year. Let me remind you what happened to Hamas, Hezbollah, and Assad – all those who tried to destroy us. Let this be your final warning. This is not a threat. It is a promise. You will share the same miserable fate,” said Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon at the UN Security Council, indirectly addressing the Houthis.
Before the meeting, Danon stated that Israel would defend its people.
“If 2.000 kilometers is not enough distance to separate our children from terror, I assure you it will not be enough to protect terror from our might,” Danon said prior to the Security Council meeting.
