kidTennis school and Bosnian Chapter of YMCA was established in 2009 in Sarajevo after the Head Coach Azra Bogucanin returned from the United States where she played competitive tennis for 10 years and nr 1 spot  for Hope International University GSAC Athletic Conference .

Azra brought her experience from coaching best juniors and children tennis players in Fullerton California  over to Sarajevo  and presented it as  Cardio Tennis Program, FIT AMERICA PROGRAM for prevention of Obesity and Video Games and Tennis 10 and UNDER PROGRAM. Her school Membership now equals more than 70 children ages  4 and more (beginner to advanced competitive  junior pro tennis players) and their families .

Besides tennis school, YMCA for 3 years now offers additional afterschool activities such as day camps, sleep over camps and other community programs for families.  At the camp we offer 4 to 1 elder- kid ratio and guarantee that all parents can feel safe when leaving  kids at our premises for a  whole or half of the day.

Front desk service  and  one on one kid vs elder supervision for  emergencies is non stop available at all times .The lunch served  is a typical lunch package consisting of chicken sandwich, energy bars, fruits, cut vegies and some cakes. We have equipment for all kids provided.

Typical  day camp schedule :

Prices:

Prices vary depending on what kind of pass parents sign up for .They usually decide whether they are enrolling kids for a full or half day camps. For more than 6 kids special discount is available so its better to sign up in groups.

kid2Our most successful YMCA event was ECO FUTURA Sleep OVER CAMP that we held last May where we hosted more than 250 kids at ECO FUTURA Village.  The kids from 4 Sarajevo schools participated in this event and for majority of them it was the first time away from parents home developing independence . Also our school is famous for its  mom kids tennis programs, family weekend fun play ,Mix double tournaments for parents only ,tennis travel groups to Croatian Coast (tennistravel.org ) and  family tournaments where the whole family  and kids compete against other tennis families .

Tennis camp and tennis school runs every day Monday through Friday and applications are always open.

The tennis school charges 150 KM per month for 8 tennis lessons. Camps costs are 400 KM per week with special discount for groups.
