The Executive Director of EU Outreach Services for Europe and Central Asia, Luis de la Pena, received in Brussels the Minister of Security of BiH, Fahrudin Radončić. They spoke about the current political situation in BiH.
During the meeting, they focused on fulfilling the obligations laid out in the Road Map, and on how BiH can meet the requirements as soon as possible in order to submit the application for membership and obtain EU candidate status.
Radončić expressed full committment and optimism that the ruling coalition of six at the state level may soon fulfill its obligations and make bold moves that are of decisive importance to all the citizens of BiH.
BiH has the full support of Brussels on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration, and it is up to local authorities to complete their obligations on time.
The evaluation is agreed upon, that this year is of crucial importance for the path to Europe and BiH’s progress.
