Thousands of anti-fascists from the former Yugoslavia gathered in the Valley of Heroes in Tjentiste on Saturday to mark the 79th anniversary of the glorious battle of Sutjeska.

Wreaths and flowers were laid by numerous delegations of anti-fascists, and a special art program was held, and the organizers point out that a joint wreath was laid at Sutjeska by all six anti-fascist alliances of the states that emerged from the breakup of Yugoslavia. National Liberation War (SABNOR) BiH.

In his address, the President of SABNOR in BiH, Sead Dulic, insisted on the unity of the anti-fascist movement and its turn to the future, drawing strength and inspiration from the unity of Tito’s partisans and heroism from Sutjeska.

The greeting of all partisans from Sutjeska, Ivo Karamatic and Petar Perisic, courier of the legendary Sava Kovacevic, caused special enthusiasm for all those present.

The RKUD “Proleter” choir from Sarajevo, the “Galeb” guitar school from Jablanica and the KIC POP choir from Podgorica participated in the program led by Aida Krehic.

The gathering was organized by SABNOR BiH, which emphasizes that this was a day of pride, inspiration, memory, but above all a day facing the future.
