Thousands of Citizens of Sarajevo spent Sunday at the Center “Safet Zajko”

Sunday at Center Safet Zajko novigradsarajevo.baThis Sunday as well, the Center for education, sports and recreation “Safet Zajko” in Novi Grad was filled with visitors of all generations. In less than a month and a half since it was opened, the Center “Safet Zajko” became the top destination for many citizens of Sarajevo. Nice weather yesterday lured thousends of citizens to this oasis of greenery in the heart of Sarajevo.

A lot of citizens came with the intention to spend the day outside, using numerous contents offered by the Center, thereby enjoying the special ambience provided by the autumn leaves which have been falling these past days.

Especially large number of families with children visit the park given that the area is safe and filled with contents intended for families with children. Park is also a favorite spot for athletes, recreationists, students, pupils, and seniors as well.

In the first place, satisfied visitors highlight the cleanliness of the park, great possibilities for children to play and for recreation, as well as the fact that the entrance is forbidden for animals.

The Center is opened for visitors every day from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. An advantage of this park in comparison to other parks is its vicinity, since it can be reached from the majority of the city parts by foot or by bike, and it is located only five minutes from the tram station.
