Three Minors detained for false Reports about Bombs in Schools

Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton detained three minors, suspected of false reports about bombs in schools in the area of ​​this canton.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the KS stated that the apprehension of the mentioned persons was carried out in the afternoon, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton.

They are suspected of having falsely reported the existence of an explosive device in secondary schools in the area of ​​Sarajevo Canton during today, and also earlier.

“A joint team consisting of police officers from the Police Directorate of the KS MUP, experts in cyber security from the Federal Police Administration, and operating under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo, continues intensive work on these cases,” the KS MUP announced, adding that the team cooperates with officials of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Let us remind you that the Municipal Court in Sarajevo today ordered a one-month detention for an eighteen-year-old who sent false bomb threats to schools.

Earlier, because of this, three other minors were placed under surveillance, as part of an extensive investigation conducted by the police and the prosecutor’s office. From the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo, they confirmed that the court accepted their explanation, that the suspect could repeat the criminal acts, for which he is now under investigation, if he remains free.
