McDonalds plans to have a total of 30 restaurants in the RS and Serbia by 2017.

According to the Director of the ‘NiceFoods’ restaurants Dragoš Pavićević, who is also the owner of the McDonalds franchise in Serbia, it is planned that every year two or three new restaurants will open. In this country there are currently 17 McDonalds restaurants: 12 in Belgrade, and one in Subotica, Novi Sad, Niš, Velika Plana and Kragujevac.

He said that in the future the focus would be on the developed markets in Belgrade and Novi Sad, as well as in locations along roads.

There are more drive-through restaurants planned, but McDonalds would continue to open their classic city restaurants.

When it comes to BiH, especially in the RS, in the next 5 years they plan to open a total of 3 restaurants.
