Three Opposition Parties Demand Resignation of RS Government and Special Elections

rs_vladaPresidents of the Serbian Radical Party RS, New Socialist Party and the Serbian Progressive Party RS called on the RS government today to resign due to the difficult economic situation, and to call early elections at all levels of the B&H government.

They said that elections can take place and that it is a solution for the crisis that culminated in the FB&H, and the President of the RS Radical Party Milanko Mihaljica claims that it is no less present in the RS and that it is not correct that the situation in this B&H entity is ‘’tidy’’.

He rejects the allegations of the government in the RS that early elections in the RS would be compromised, destabilizing and would be questioned, but that it would rather be the will of the people.

He said that they support the legitimate concerns of the majority of RS citizens and B&H for the solution of accumulated problems, but that they are against the ‘’unpacking’’ of Dayton Agreement and eventual external intervention, and emphasized that the government in the RS ‘’is not allowed to spread fear that the RS entity would be called into question, if they lose their power’’.

‘’I call on the leading parties in the RS to step down from power, and for the government to not put its head in the sand due to the events in the FB&H’’, said Mihaljica at a press conference, where he accused the RS authorities of alienating themselves from the people.

He said that they are against violent protests, but that the government, ‘’if they stick their head in the sand, would face protests’’.
