Today, the police officers of the Banja Luka Police Administration served misdemeanor warrants to A.S. and A.A. from Kalesija, and E.M. from Kljuc for the offense of fighting, yelling, screaming and indecent behavior from Article 7 of the Law on Public Order and Peace, announced the Banja Luka Police Department.

As they said from the Banja Luka Police Department, during the performance of regular duties and tasks, police officers in Banja Luka stopped and checked seven passenger vehicles.

On that occasion, they noticed that the Renault vehicle driven by A.S. BMW driven by A.A. and Skoda driven by E.M. displayed, as they say, war flags of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“By indecent behavior and pointing out symbols, the above-mentioned persons committed a violation,” the statement states.

They added that the judge on duty of the Basic Court in Banja Luka – Department for Misdemeanors was informed about the incident.

As Klix.ba learns, they were participants of the wedding procession, and on which the war flags of the RBiH Army were not displayed, but the flags of the Republic of BiH with lilies, which differ from the flags of the RBiH Army in several clearly visible details.

It is important to recognize that this flag was the official state symbol of the internationally recognized Republic of BiH and, among other things, was in use until 1998. It was also flown in front of the UN building in the USA until it was withdrawn from use.

We remind you that this is not the first time that Bosnia and Herzegovina to the RS entity, accidentally or intentionally, equates the former flag of the state with the war flag of the RBiH Army, although at first glance it is obvious that they are two different flags.
