Tito’s youngest Son is 82 years old, the Public rarely sees him

The granddaughter of Josip Broz Tito published a photo with her parents. Her father, Aleksandar Miso Broz, Tito’s youngest son, is already 82 years old.

Aleksandar Miso Broz, son of Josip Broz Tito, rarely appeared in public for the last decade after the end of his diplomatic career. His daughter Sasa Broz, Tito’s granddaughter, recently published a photo in which she was joined by her 82-year-old father Miso, and 81-year-old mother Mira.

Underneath the photo from the restaurant, she wrote – “the two of them are everything to me” – and added that she was proud of her family and grateful for it.

Some time ago, the 54-year-old theater director told the Croatian magazine Gloria that her parents had the greatest influence on how she shaped herself as a person. “A person has to be able to guide himself through the years, but the family is always there to watch your back,” she pointed out.

Aleksandar Miso Broz was born in Tito’s marriage with his second wife, Herta Haas from Maribor. Like his father, he tried his hand at politics as well as business. In the 1980s and 1990s, he held the highest positions in the energy company INA. After the independence of Croatia, on the recommendation of then President Franjo Tudjman, he became the first adviser to the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs. He then worked as a plenipotentiary minister in the Croatian embassies in Russia and Egypt and as the Croatian ambassador in Indonesia, N1 reports.
