Today marks the 33rd Anniversary of the Crimes against Croats in Trusina

Organized by the Association of Homeland War Veterans and Volunteers of the City of Konjic, the 33rd anniversary of the crime against members of the HVO and civilians of Croatian nationality in Trusina, committed by members of the RBiH Army, is being marked today.

As announced, the commemoration program will begin with the laying of wreaths at 10:30 a.m.

By laying wreaths and praying in front of the memorial, and St. requiem mass in the church of St. Ante Žitače, which will be led by Msgr. Ph.D. Pero Sudar, retired auxiliary bishop of Sarajevo, with the concelebration of his brothers from Neretvica, it is planned to commemorate one of the greatest sufferings of Croats not only in the former municipality of Konjic but also beyond, the organizers announced.

In the early morning hours of April 16, 1993, members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina committed a crime against 22 Croats in the village of Trusina, of which 15 were civilians and seven were captured members of the HVO.
