Nineteen people have been arrested, and two people who are still on the run are still being sought in the continuation of the “Pyramid” operation of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, confirmed to Fena news agency the spokesperson for the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Lejla Ekinović.

Searches began simultaneously at 24 locations, of which 16 locations are in the area of ​​the City of Visoko, six in the area of ​​the Breza municipality, and one location each in the areas of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo, which is why this operation is being conducted in cooperation with the Federal Police Directorate, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, and the East Sarajevo Police Directorate.

The operation is being carried out in accordance with the orders of the Municipal Court in Visoko, and it is a continuation of the “Pyramid” operation conducted by the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

“In addition to the 19 arrested persons, a significant amount of drugs has been found at these locations where searches were conducted. We will inform the public about the results of the operation later, when the operation is completed,” says Ekinović.

The previous operation, codenamed “Pyramid”, was carried out from January 1 to April 15 this year, and during that period, 30 people were deprived of their liberty, and 13 searches were carried out in the areas of Visoko, Olovo, Breza, Vareš and Sarajevo, during which more than four kilograms of the narcotic drug “speed”, 3.2 kg of the narcotic drug “marijuana”, five rifles, three pistols, one hand grenade, ecstasy tablets and paraphernalia for consuming narcotic drugs were found.
