The flight from Dubai, of the Fly Dubai company, which was supposed to bring 156 BiH citizens to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, has been cancelled, Bojan Đokić, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), confirmed for BHRT.

He also noted that these are BiH citizens who remained in transit at the moment when the conflicts in the Middle East began, as well as those who were scheduled to return to Sarajevo on Saturday and Monday.

“Apart from this, another 74 flights have been cancelled. The option of a charter flight is also being considered, but that decision is up to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH and the Council of Ministers” – said Đokić for BHRT.

BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković said yesterday that the BiH Council of Ministers will consider the possibility of possibly engaging a charter flight, if necessary.

It should be noted that several BiH citizens were evacuated last night from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh by an Air Serbia plane.

The Government of Serbia successfully organized the return of a total of 67 of its citizens, as well as citizens of BiH, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Croatia and Slovenia, who were evacuated from Israel due to war operations.
