Tomislavgrad: Free Internet for Everyone

wi fiTomislavgrad joined on Thursday many other towns around the world by launching the project “Free Internet for everyone”.

According to the organizers of this project, the Tomislavgrad Youth council, the project was prepared intensively and was implemented thanks to the cooperation between the council and the municipality of Tomislavgrad.

“The purpose of this initiative is that all young people and their older fellow citizens can access free wireless internet at any time in Tomislavgrad.” – said the organizers.

The released signal is named Vijeće mladih Tomislavgrad 4 and Vijeće mladih Tomislavgrad 5, and by extending the net, the following areas are covered: the area around the stadium of the FC “Tomislav”, the City sports hall, the building of the elementary school “Ivan Mažuranić”, the street of Kralj Zvonimir, the park at the New terminal….

The highest number of users that can use the free wireless internet at the same time is 600 while the power of the signal at the covered area is 50 db.
