Tomorrow – the Day of FARMA Project

bosehedbergEmbassy of Sweden to BIH will be the host of the Day of FARMA Project which will be held tomorrow, 5 June in the courtyard of Swedish Embassy in Sarajevo, reports Fena.

The event, as announced, will be opened by Ambassador of Sweden to BiH Bosse Hedberg and the aim of the event is to present the results of USAID/Sida FARMA project and point out the main achievements.

Sixteen domestic milkmen, fruits and vegetables producers and herbs produce will present and sell their products.

Swedish Embassy to Sarajevo, together with USAID is financing the implementation of FARMA project which is worth 19 million USD, and which started in September 2009 and it will last until February 2015.

The aim of USAID/Sida Farma Project is fast, sustainable and comprehensive economic development with the help base on real needs and directed towards improving competitiveness of BiH food producers with the aim to develop environmentally friendly production and distribution of products with added value.
