Top Five Business News and Events of the past Week

1. The first H&M store opens in Tuzla

The first H&M store in Tuzla will be opened on November 11that 9 a.m., within the Bingo City Center, and visitors will have the opportunity to use discounts of up to 50 percent on selected items from November 11th to 14th.

”The store, which covers 2.000 square meters, will have a rich offer and a diverse assortment of women’s and men’s clothing, as well as collections for teenagers, children, and babies, including fashion accessories, ” it was announced by this company.

2. Wizz Air is looking for new staff in Sarajevo and Tuzla, the largest job ad in the company’s history began

During November and December, Wizz Air will hold a series of cabin crew recruitment events at its bases in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Skopje, and Tuzla.

In Sarajevo, interested candidates can attend the Open Day at the Holiday Hotel on November 11th and 17th, as well as on December 2nd, 6th, and 17th at 9:00 a.m. The interviews are conducted as part of the largest competition in the company’s history.

3. An agreement signed with a leading Qatari company in the dedicated industry

Companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the field of dedicated industry signed agreements on technical cooperation with the leading Qatari state-owned company in Doha, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Bisera Turkovic, as well as the Minister of Defense of Qatar, Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyaha.

In this way, a solid and precise framework has been established for the future expansion of cooperation in terms of development and investment.

4. BH Telecom distributed another 50 million BAM to shareholders

The General Meeting of Shareholders of BH Telecom was held in Sarajevo on Monday, at which a decision was made to pay an additional dividend from the period from 2018 to 2020.

Retained earnings from 2018, 2019, and 2020 in the total amount of 46.31 million BAM and part of the Reserve Fund above 25 percent of the Company’s share capital, in the amount of 3.67 million BAM, which amounts to a total of 49.99 millionBAM, was allocated for the payment of an additional dividend to the shareholders of BH Telecom.

5. The construction of a mega project on Trebevic has begun

The construction of the luxury residential and business building Roof Gardens, which will be the unique symbol of the city ofSarajevo, has begun on Trebevic. Roof Gardens aspires to become one of the most prestigious locations in Southeast Europe, offering an unprecedented panoramic view of Olympic city Sarajevo.

This investment is worth about 25 million euros and is realized by the Sarajevo company Roof Gardens, founded by BiH company with a regional business presence.
