Total Number of Internet Connections via the Fixed Network recorded an Increase

A total number of fixed telephone lines of dominant operators in the second quarter of 2018 was 613.822 represents a decrease of 9,4% compared to the second quarter of 2017.

According to data from BiH’s Agency for Statistics, the total traffic of the fixed telephone network in the second quarter of 2017 was 427.000.629 minutes which shows a decrease of 6,2% compared the second quarter of 2017.

The number of mobile phone users in the second quarter of 2018 was 3.300.634 which shows a decrease of 0,5% compared to the second quarter of 2017 year.

The total traffic of mobile telephone network in the second quarter of 2018 was 570.271.219 minutes which represents a decrease of 4,1% compared to the second quarter 2017th year.

The number of SMS messages sent in the second quarter of 2018 decreased by 17,7%, while the number of MMS messages sent decreased by 23,4% compared to the second quarter of 2017.

The total number of Internet connections via the fixed network in the second quarter of 2018 was 686.546 an increase of 2,3% compared the second quarter of 2017.
