Tourist Pearl: Ethno Village in Kamicani to be opened (Gallery)

[wzslider autoplay=”true”]In the small village Kamicani near Prijedor, where, only 2 years ago was a meadow, now you can see arising complex of breathtaking beauty.

Couple Djonlagic from Prijedor, Borka and Kadir, decided to invest all their wealth, earned during 30 years of work in Switzerland, to the construction of the first ethnic village in Kamicani, in order to give tourism potential to this part of Republika Srpska.

The couple said that this area will get its sports and recreational – tourist center that will be the pride of the whole region. In the first 6 months, they already made lake where about a half tons of carp is swimming, two houses with nine beds, several bridges, summer house, decorative fence etc. In two years of construction of the complex, they have invested more than 1.5 million BAM.

Kadir Djonlagic from the village Kamicani, lives and works in Switzerland where he owns the company “Alma trans” and “Alma cargo,” that are engaged in transport and are currently employing 32 workers. With his wife Borka, who is from Niksic, he is working for two years on the construction of this ethno village which is located 4 kilometers from Kozarac, in an area of 13,000 m2 where they plan a big tourist resort.

“We wanted to invest in this region and we want our guests, especially foreigners to learn about this wonderful countryside under the Kozara Mountain and this whole area,” said Djonlagic.

He added that besides 90 beds for the overnight stay, this ethno village will also have sports fields, indoor pool, horse riding school and a tourist train that will drive all interested to neighboring Kozarac, Kozara Mountain and Prijedor.
