Tourist Potentials, Culture and Cuisine of BiH presented in Vienna

viennaTourist potentials of BiH, as well as its cultural values and gastronomy, were presented last night in Vienna at the traditional garden party in the organization of the Vienna Economic Forum.

Stand with specialties from BiH served by employees of the Embassy of BiH was one of the most popular and trays with kebabs, pies, Livno cheese and other specialties from BiH got empty very quickly.

Ambassador of BiH to Austria, Tomislav Leko, said that the Embassy always tries to present BiH in the best way possible when it comes to economic and cultural, and now the gastronomic part as well.

“Fortunately, there’s a lot of our people and we have a great support in our efforts to present BiH, like today we had the support of our companies that are active in Austria,” said Leko.

Presentation of the country and its specifics, he said, means a lot in terms of understanding that country in Austria, but also among the representatives of other countries, as it was the case at last night’s event.

“It’s always good, those are some small steps that are necessary,” said Leko.

In parallel, this was also a year of presenting the culture of BiH in Austria and a series of manifestations will be organized in Vienna and elsewhere.

“Thus in this ‘non-political part of’ diplomacy, but the part that goes hand in hand with political representation, we do everything in this country that is friendly, which supports BiH and truly wants the best for BiH, and most of all wants to see BiH in the club of EU countries and as a developed country. We will probably have that support in Vienna in the future as well, and it is up to us to justify this support and to fight for it,” said the Ambassador of BiH to Austria, Tomislav Leko.
