received_1788827018020641More than 100 tourists from 10 countries of the world last Saturday drove with the Rotary tourist train through the canyon of Una River.

“Tourist train cuts through the border at several points through Una canyon, and it is passing through BiH, Croatia, and BiH again. Most of the tourists were from Croatia, who celebrated the match of Croatian national team at the European Championship in a good mood,” said Nermina Behric.

Tourists visited the National Park and the most beautiful European waterfall Strbacki buk on Una, and musical orchestra and Raif Ferhatovic, comedian from Bihac who was dressed as Charlie Chaplin, entertained them during the ride.

“This is our tradition and a sort of celebration of a successful season in the National Park Una, and in fact this is opportunity for staff of the National Park to hang out with tourists and the media that promote us,” said Amarildo Mulic, director of the National Park Una.

Workers of the Railways of the FBiH said that they highly appreciate the idea of the tourist train, and they hope that its promotion will lead to the restoration of the interrupted traffic of Una railway.

The purpose of the tourist Rotary train of the National Park Una is to open communications, attract tourists from all around the world and revive the area that was left without railway transport.
