In the first three months of the RS, 77,738 tourists visited and 223,237 overnight stays were realized.

Nada Jovanovic, director of the RS Tourist Organization, says that it is expected for number of tourists to increase because last year they had a record number and expect the number to continue to increase.

Jovanovic added that tourists originate from far distant countries, and that tourists coming to RS are interested in what they have to offer.

She adds that Trebinje is a very interesting destination for these tourists, and since we have established airline line that makes easier for tourists to come to Banja Luka, which has become a recognizable destination with numerous cultural and historical heritage.

“Foreign tourists from the distant countries are most attracted to water and vegetation. Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, and United Arab Emirates tourists mostly visit national parks, mostly Foca, “says Jovanovic, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
