fair-cazinTwo-day event “Cazin Fair 2015” was officially opened in Cazin, where about 50 local exhibitors of agricultural products and various crafts presented themselves to the visitors.

President of the Organizing Committee of the Cantonal exhibition of livestock and agricultural products “Cazin Fair 2015”, Said Samardzic, said that this is a valuable event that is being further improved every year, because Cazin has great potential for agricultural production, as well as the decades-long tradition of fairs.

Minister of Agriculture, Water-Management and Forestry of USC, Dragan Polimanac, congratulated on the good organization and success of farmers from Cazin, emphasizing the importance of promotions of all agricultural sectors and “Cazin Fair.”

“This is a great opportunity for our producers to show their innovativeness and creativity as well as their entrepreneurial spirit and to show to those who are still having second thoughts on trying in agricultural production, that it is possible and that there is a good development opportunity as well. It should be emphasized again that we are the municipality with almost 3,000 registered agricultural producers and 1,500 small and medium enterprises that are founded by the citizens of Cazin. These numbers are certainly important for our economy as well,” said the Mayor of Cazin, Mr. Nermin Ogresevic.

The official opening of the fair was completed by members of the cultural and artistic groups “Bajro Redzic” and “Hasan Mujezinovic,” and visitors had the opportunity to buy and try the local milk, cheeses, juices, raspberry, honey and honey products, as well as numerous vegetable products from Cazin farms. The youngest were delighted by horses, ponies and ornamental poultry, while older visitors had the opportunity to see many artifacts and antiques from this region.
