Traffic Increase at the Sarajevo International Airport in March

aerodrom webTraffic growth is recorded in March of this year at the Sarajevo International Airport.

Specifically, 45.789 passengers have been recorded during March, which represents an increase of 3% compared to the same month last year. Also, airline operations marked an increase, 439 in March 2014, which is 8 % higher than in the same period last year.

116.548 kg commercial cargo is processed in March, which is 12 % more than in the same month last year.

The summer flight schedule came into force since 30.03.2014, in accordance to which the airline company Germanwings will launch a new line to connect Sarajevo-Berlin from 15.04. Flights will take place twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing from Sarajevo, at 09:35 (local time) and arrival in Berlin, at 11:25. Departure from Berlin at 07:05 and arrival in Sarajevo at 08:55 (local time).

 A traffic increase at the Sarajevo International Airport is expected in the future period as well.
