swisslion2President of the “Swisslion Takovo” Rodoljub Draskovic, announced that the first line of the newly built factory of food industry “Trebinje 2” will be put into operation within the next few days, and that they will hire 350 employees during the first phase.

Draskovic said that the installation process of three lines is currently taking place, one of which will be put into operation this week, and that twenty engineers were admitted for the training today.

According to him, test production of the factory of baby food is planned for the 1st of November, while the factory for processing of cocoa beans will be in the operation by the end of the year.

Three lines that have not been in the range before will be installed in the new factory, and besides the production of baby food “Juvitana” and lines for processing of cocoa beans, the line for the production of glazed honey cake will be included as well.

The value of construction works on the factory “Trebinje 2,” without installing the equipment, amounts to almost 4.5 million BAM, and the project is entirely financed from their own funds. This is getting the figure of total funds that “Swisslion” invested in production facilities in Herzegovina closer to the amount of 100 million BAM.

The factory occupies 14,800 m2, and “Trebinje 2” will be the largest production facility in the food industry of B&H.
