Troops of EUFOR Reserve Forces to Come in B&H Today

ČETE REZERVNIH SNAGA EUFOR-aTroops that are part of the reserve forces of EUFOR, stationed outside B&H will come today in B&H.

They consist of three troops from Austria, Slovenia and UK. Initially they were suppose to come to B&H to participate in the exercise “Quick Response 14” but now due to the situation caused by floods, they will perform actions of providing support in elimination of consequences of natural disaster together with B&H Armed Forces.

This actions will take place under the name “Operation Joint Effort 14”.

EUFOR has provided humanitarian assistance to B&H authorities over the past few weeks. Over 200 evacuation by helicopter are done and more than 800 people are evacuated.

“It is anticipated that the arrival of troops of our reserve forces will pose additional assistance to EUFOR’s actions considering that we operate closely with the Armed Forces of B&H on providing humanitarian assistance in the upcoming weeks”, announced EUFOR.
