[wzslider autoplay=”true”]After the Zagreb bell and a sculpture that are being made in Posušje for the Mass of Pope Francis that will be held on the 6th of June in Sarajevo, Zavidovići have also engaged in the construction of artifacts that are created for the visit of the Holy Father.

The chair for the Sarajevo mass is created in the carpentry workshop of the Hajderovac family, where the hardworking hands of Salem and his son Edin are creating this item. The Hajderovac family planned the idea with the help of a local priest, Miro Bešlić.

The chair, which is made of walnut wood, is entirely handmade, stated Edin Hajderovac.

Its painting is currently taking place and, according to Edin, “it is shining and getting more beautiful with every moment!”

The chair also contains depictions of the Sarajevo Cathedral, the church of Zavidovići, as well as the emblem of Pope Francis. There are also grapes, ears of corn, a logo of Pope’s visit to Sarajevo, “Peace be with you”, while the armrests have depictions of fish.

Also, it should be noted that carpenter Mirko Knežević is responsible for the carpentry part.
