According to the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, trucks with humanitarian aid have begun entering the Gaza Strip, local sources reported.

As they stated, a certain number of aid trucks moved through the Israeli Kerem Shalom border crossing into southern Gaza.

The entry of aid trucks took place after the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza came into effect on Friday, according to the plan of the United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump, to end the two-year Israeli war in the enclave.

More than 67.806 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza

In Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, at least 67.806 Palestinians have been killed.

The statement from the Gaza Ministry of Health said that the bodies of 124 people were brought to hospitals in Gaza in the last 24 hours. Among them, 117 were pulled from the rubble, and seven people died from sustained injuries.

It was also announced that 33 injured people were brought to hospitals, who previously could not do so because of the Israeli blockade.

With the new deaths, the total number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks has risen to 67.806, and the number of wounded to 170.066.

Thousands of the dead are reportedly still buried under the rubble in the Gaza Strip, and thousands of the wounded have not yet reached hospitals.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that Israel and Hamas had agreed on the first phase of a 20-point plan he presented on September 29th, which envisages a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all Israeli captives held there in exchange for around 2.000 Palestinian prisoners, and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the entire Gaza Strip.

The first phase of the agreement came into effect on Friday.

The second phase of the plan envisages the establishment of a new governance mechanism in Gaza without Hamas’ participation, the formation of multinational forces, and the disarmament of Hamas.
