The White House shared on social media a photo of the United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump generated by artificial intelligence in which he is shown as the pope. Trump posted the photo on his accounts, and it was then shared by many.

During a press conference held a few days ago, Trump was asked about the upcoming conclave and whom he would like to see as the next pope.

“I would like to be the pope. That would be my first wish,” joked the President of the U.S. and added: “No, I don’t know whom I would like to see as the next pope, I have no specific preference.”

His latest photo sparked a flood of comments.

“This is complete madness at this point,” wrote “Republicans Against Trump.”

The conclave to elect the new pope and head of the Catholic Church will begin on May 7th, to choose a successor to the recently deceased Pope Francis.
