Tuzla Canton Government Adopted the Draft Law on the Incentives for Employment in Businesses

vladatkTuzla Canton government adopted today the draft law on the incentives for employment in businesses and social care for people who are without a job.

This law would allow the solidarity fund on a voluntary basis, where people who are employed in the Canton to allocate 5 % of the salaries and insurance funds of the budget for working experience of people who are without a job. 

“This law should allow the implementation of the employment fund, and on the other hand would enable the positioning of funds in the budget of Tuzla Canton, which would be used to start productions in the giant companies and other companies”, announced the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Bahrija Umihanić at a press conference.

He said that 82.000 unemployed people are in Tuzla Canton and it is expected that by a synchronized media campaign to include at least half of employed people.

“If we manage to include at least half of employed people then we would be able to refund the contributions for 5 thousand new employees”, emphasized Umihanić.

Also, he stressed that within the budget re-balance they will seek to allocate as much money as possible, not less than 10 million BAM, which would be used within the process of the revitalization of enterprises of Tuzla Canton.

The government of Tuzla Canton expects for Tuzla Canton Assembly to consider this law as soon as possible and to adopt it.
