Tuzla International Airport expects to handle up to 800,000 passengers in 2026, driven by the continued expansion of low-cost carrier Wizz Air and the introduction of new routes and charter services.
Following the reopening of Wizz Air’s base in Tuzla late last year, the airline is set to further strengthen its presence by stationing a second aircraft at the airport in March and launching six additional routes. Capacity growth is already visible in the current schedule. During the first half of the year, Tuzla Airport has 426,980 available seats on scheduled services, representing a year-on-year increase of 173%, or an additional 270,928 seats compared to the same period last year.
