Twenty-Sixth Anniversary of Death of Croat Civilians in Trusina marked

The 26th anniversary since the war crimes occurred in Trusina near Konjic, where members of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Army killed 18 civilians of Croat nationality, and four captive members of the Croatian Defense Council.

The family members of the victims laid the flowers on a memorial.

The war crimes occurred in the morning, and were committed by members of the Special Purpose Unit “Zulfikar”.

For this crime, Edin Dzeko was sentenced to 13 years in prison and Rasema Handanovic, who was sentenced to five and a half years’ imprisonment.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina pronounced 15 years imprisonment to Nihad Bojadzic, while Nedzad Hodzic and Mensur Memic were sentenced to 12 and 10 years, respectively, News Agency Partia reports.
