POTPISANA DVA SPORAZUMA ZA UNAPREÐENJE SARADNJE IZMEÐU BiH I FRANCUSKEAmbassador of France in B&H Roland Gilles and B&H Deputy Minister of Security Mladen Ćavar signed today in Sarajevo two agreements which will contribute to the improvement of cooperation between two countries, which relate to the readmission of persons residing without permission and youth mobility.

Thus, the Implementation Protocol between the Council of Ministers of B&H and the Government of France is signed on the implementation of the Agreement between the B&H Council of Ministers and the European Community on the readmission of persons residing without permission and the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of B&H and the governments of France, which relates to the mobility of young people.

The official signing of the agreements, attended by journalists and cameramen preceded by a bilateral meeting between the two delegations at which was discussed cooperation between B&H and France.

Ambassador of France in B&H Roland Gilles said at a press conference that these agreements fit into the wider framework of respecting European standards relating to the situation with the abolition of visas in 2010, and with the desire to ensure freedom of movement for all citizens.

“Agreements clarify the quality of relations between France and B&H and especially in the field of security and cooperation between various police services and that influence the continuity of cooperation between B&H and France”, said Gilles.

Ćavar stressed that the agreements contribute to the rapprochement of the two countries, and the agreement on youth mobility gives the possibility and simplifies the movement of young people to come to B&H and France and to exchange experiences and improve their professional knowledge and thus learn about the culture of another country.

Young people between 18 and 35 years old, who want to study or work in France will have the chance to stay there for 24 months and the conditions for it will be facilitated through signing these agreements.
